The Huskies boys soccer team played a great game against Muncie Burris winning 3-1. Josh Thorpe struck first 13 minutes into the game off an assist from Logan Fakes. But just 40 seconds later the Owls tied it 1-1 going into halftime.

The Huskies maneuvered the ball greatly in the second half when Jacob Luckey found Josh Thorpe again on a great pass to add another Huskies goal five minutes into the second half. Then with 22 minutes to go in the half, Nahuel Zarate scored off a pass from Sean Russell to seal the game 3-1.

The Owl's goalie made some spectacular saves to keep the game tight. The defense also played a great game for the Huskies shutting down many great Owl attacks. Caleb Grabarz recorded 5 saves on the game.

"The player of the game award went to Jacob Luckey for his strong presence up and down the field helping with defense, and also on the attack as well as keeping his mind mentally in the game," said Husky coach Derrick Dean.
