The Guerin Catholic Lady Golden Eagles held the Brebeuf Braves to just six second-half points in route to a 55-26 win Friday night. 

Nicole Cunningham led the Golden Eagles in scoring with 22 points on 7-of-17 from the floor. Sydney Geis also finished in double-digits with 12 points. 

Guerin led 12-9 after the first quarter and held a 24-20 advantage at the half. The Golden Eagles took control in the third quarter, outscoring the Braves 16-2. Guerin kept up the defensive intensity in the fourth — holding Brebeuf to four points. 

The Golden Eagles (4-15) pick up the first conference win of the year and move to 1-3.
