The Millers lost a heartbreaker to Lawrence Central 3-2 Thursday night. The Millers struck first on a goal by Joe Lang eight minutes into the contest. The Millers gave a goal right back on a counterattack by the Bears. Towards the end of the first half Josh Lovett converted a header off a Tommy Gregory corner kick to lead at the break 2-1.

In the second half the Millers gave up a goal with about 20 minutes to go. It looked like the Millers were going to come away with a victory. Possession for the game was about 70/30 in favor of the Millers with most of the chances on goal being generated by the Millers too. But it was all for naught as the Bears managed to score with 10 seconds to go and steal a victory 3-2.

The Millers are back in action on Tuesday at home against Hamilton Southeastern. It will be Senior Night and Indy Premier Soccer Club Community night.
