Hamilton Southeastern soccer struggled this weekend losing both games to top Ohio teams in the Eagle Invitational. The tournament highlighted seven nationally ranked teams.

Friday night St Ursula took it to HSE in the first half. HSE GK Chloe Banning came up huge with multiple saves. HSE came on strong in the second half but gave up a rebound goal and lost 1-0. Saanika Kamat also had a great game on defense.

In Saturday's game HSE rested a few players due to some nagging injuries against the #15 ranked team in the country, Brunswick OH. HSE committed a defensive errors that led to being down 1-0 at halftime. The Royals scored five minutes into the second half when Claire Wilkinson found the net assisted by Izzie Wallace. Three minutes later HSE was called for a PK which missed wide. Brunswick, on the very next play, made up for it beating three HSE defenders and buried it for the winning goal. A long shot sailed over the Royals goalie head for Brunswick's third and final goal.

HSE plays Fishers this Wednesday at Fishers. HSE leads the HCC standings to this point in the season.
