The #1 ranked Westfield Girls Golf team competed at South Grove Golf Course against the Ben Davis Giants on Thursday at South Grove Golf Course. The Lady Rocks got off to a good start and never looked back. The team shot a score of 138 which was good enough for a new team nine hole record.

Leading the way for the Rocks was Cailyn Henderson who had two eagles and a birdie on the evening and finished with an impressive 30. Jocelyn Bruch had a solid round herself shooting a one under par 34. Adrienne Montalone had a good night shooting one over par 36. Emma Clary and Natalie Shupe each finished with a 38 and Margaret Wentz finished with a 41.

"These kids always amaze me at how they keep setting the bar higher for themselves," said Coach Trevor Neu. "We have shot some low rounds the last couple of years but tonight the kids all were very relaxed and enjoyed a beautiful day on the course and their scores reflected of how relaxed they were. It was also nice to see the girls shoot a great score on the course that we will be playing in two weeks at Sectionals."

The JV Rocks also brought home the W on Thursday in their match against Guerin Catholic, 179-224 at PebbleBrook Golf Course. Leading the way for the team was Megan Barker who was medalist with a 43. Grace Snyder and Cate Jensen each shot a 44. Khloe Miller finished with a 48. Alli McEvoy carded a 52. Gabby Fekete and Naomi McKenney each rounded out the scoring with a 56.
