The 2016 state football champions have been invited to play at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Westfield Rocks football team will be featured in the Indianapolis Colts Horseshoe Classic on August 25, the third game of the 2017 season. The Rocks will be matched up against the Southport Cardinals at Indianapolis Colts Stadium at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale in the Westfield Athletic Office from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday. Tickets can also be purchased at home football games on August 11 and 18.

Ticket prices are $10, cash or check only for ages 6-Adult. Ages 5 years and younger are free. Youth football players can get a discounted ticket for only $5 and can go out on the Lucas Oil Field to form a tunnel for the Rocks to run through prior to the game. Youth football players must wear a youth football jersey to get into the game with their youth football ticket and to be on the field prior to the game.

The champions are coached by Jake Gilbert, and will begin their 2017 season on Aug 18 at home against Harrison High School.

The Rocks are not the only Hamilton County School to play on a professional field this season. The Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles released information on their boys and girls soccer teams' scheduled matches at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis' Carroll Stadium, home of the Indy 11 professional soccer team.

The Golden Eagles will play against Brebeuf on Aug 26. The boys will play at 1:00 p.m. with the girls following at 3:00 p.m.
