Five Hamilton County girls' golf teams competed at the Zionsville Invitational on Wednesday. Westfield led the pack with a second place finish behind Zionsville. It was the Shamrocks' first time missing first place this season.

The Shamrocks shot a solid score of 309, but that was two strokes shy of Zionsville's 307.

Westfield was led by Cailyn Henderson who shot a two over par 74 and was the runner up individual medalist. Jocelyn Bruch followed with a 77 which was good enough for fourth overall. Adrienne Montalone shot a 78 which was the 6th best score overall. Margaret Wentz finished with an 80 and that was the 8th best score overall. Grace Snyder rounded Westfield's top five with an 89. Emma Clary, Natalie Shupe and Megan Barker played as individuals and shot an 82, 87 and 100.

The Fishers Lady Tigers finished 4th at the Invitational with a score of 332. Leading the way for the Tigers was Morgan Lewis with an 80, Kennedy Brooker and Anna DelPrince with 82's and Brooke Wilson with an 88.

Carmel ended the day in third place.

"The course played long today and some errant shots kept us from the scores we wanted. Great rounds by Erin Evans and Libby McGuire," said Carmel head coach Kelly Kluesner.

Hamilton Southeastern and Guerin Catholic also competed at the invitational. HSE finished in fifth place and Guerin followed in ninth.

The Royals were led by Chelsea Morrow, shooting a 79, and the Golden Eagles' best swinger on the day was Gabby Gilorowski with a 77, the fifth best individual score.
