The Westfield Varsity Girls Golf team won their 5th invite of the season at Highland Country Club in the Irish Invitational on Monday. The team finished with a team score of 307.

Leading the way for the Shamrocks was Cailyn Henderson with a two over par 72 and finished tied for 2nd. Jocelyn Bruch finished 5th overall with a 75. Margaret Wentz carded a 79 and Adrienne Montalone close behind her with an 80. Rounding out the top five was Natalie Shupe with an 86.

The Shamrocks will be back in action next Saturday at the Western Invitational.

The Greyhounds finished in 3rd place with a team score of 314, just four strokes behind second place Zionsville.

"We had a great day," said Carmel coach Kelly Kluesner. "We are battling big numbers on a few holes and are looking forward to practices this week to work on those."

Guerin Catholic and Hamilton Southeastern rounded out the Hamilton County invite participants. Guerin finished in sixth place with a team score of 377, and HSE came in two spots ahead of the Golden Eagles at fourth place with 324 team strokes.
