The Westfield Girls Golf team finished off a busy week with a victory at the Fall State Preview held at Prairie View Golf Club on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Rocks finished with a team score of 309 to just edge Columbus North by one shot.

This was the Shamrocks fourth win in five tournaments this week and their third lowest score of the week. The team was led by Jocelyn Bruch who finished fourth out of a field of 90 golfer with a two over par 74. Cailyn Henderson was next with the fifth best score on the day a 75. Adrienne Montalone continue her consistent play and finished with a 77 and a top ten finish. Margaret Wentz finished with an 83 and Natalie Shupe carded a 95.

Westfield plays again on Monday at the Cathedral Invitational at Highland Country Club.

Carmel also played at the Fall State Preview, finishing in fifth place.

"Overall, we are very happy with a top 5 finish at the State Preview," said Greyhound coach Kelly Kluesner. "We are right there and just need to fine tune our course management and get rid of a few bad holes. I'm proud of the team for grinding it out until the end.

Carmel will also play at the Cathedral Invitational on Monday.
