Ground Broken!

Photo courtesy of Hamilton County. Fishers Fire and Emergency Services broke ground on their 7th fire station today. Located in NE Fishers on 136th St, near Prairie Baptist Rd, the new 13,600 square foot station will house an engine and medic unit. Construction is anticipated to take 12-15 months. Many residents of Britton Falls, a community of nearly 1800 homes of 55 and older population, came out to celebrate the ground breaking. This station is anticipated to reduce response times significantly to this area of Fishers. The station, a near duplicate of the station recently re-built on ALlisonville Rd near the airport, was designed by DELV and will be constructed by BW Construction Company.
