Shirley D. (Lytle) Engelbretson, 75, passed away peacefully at home on Nov. 5th 2021 in Noblesville.
Mrs. Engelbretson attended Marion High school, Went to Boulder University for a B.S. in business also attended Glamor Girl Beauty Collage in Marion, Ind. She opened her own Beauty Salon by the name of Westwood Beauty Shop. Several years later she moved to Indianapolis where she lived for 8 years. She was ready for a change and moved north to the small town of Cicero on Morris Lake for 32 years she so loved the water at home or vacation. She and her husband moved to the south end of the lake 4 years ago where she was still close to the water.
The family will miss their funny, spunky, sassy, spry, and beautiful Momma. Rest in Peace!
Survivors include her husband, Gerald (Jerry) Engelbretson, her daughters, Tamara Ann (Bob) Olson and Taya Taylor (Michael) Millikan; son, Robert Tyson Taylor; grandchildren, Tomie Onie (Billy) Weber, Robert (Mellisa) Lahmann, Logan Taylor, Mikey and Matthew Millikan; great-grandchildren, Hanna and E.J Lahmann and Joshua and Savanah Weber; brother, Dereal (Joni) Lytle; and nephew, Steven Lytle.
She was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Tevin Taylor and Christopher Taylor; and others, Alene Erma Lambert Lytle, Robert Lytle and Thomas James Lambert.
A Celebration of Life honoring Shirley D. Engelbretson is planned for Nov. 17, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Bridgewater Country Club, 3535 East 161st street, in Carmel, Ind. Arrangements entrusted to Indiana Funeral Care.
