Jane L. Cheney

Jane L. Cheney, 83, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022 at her home.

She was born on March 9, 1939 to Kenneth and Vera (Mollenkopf) Kirkpatrick in Noblesville.

Mrs. Cheney was a graduate of Fishers High School and worked in admitting for Riverview Hospital, as well as the Connor House kitchen at Conner Prairie. She enjoyed crafting and bird watching. She also loved her pets.

Survivors include her 2 sons James (Lora Dorton-Cheney) Cheney and Jay Cheney; sister Martha Rouse; 2 grandchildren Jay (Sharalyn) Cheney and Kelly (Robert) Cheney Babcock; 5 great-grandchildren Faith Miller, Jay Cheney, Mikayla Cheney, Greyson Cheney and Emma Cheney Babcock; dog Sassy; and cat Pumpkin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Cheney.

Visitation is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., noon on Friday, Dec. 16, 2022 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Rd., in Fishers. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
