Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is holding their annual rain barrel sale. Rain barrels are a great way to conserve water and reduce your water bill, and Hamilton County SWCD is offering high-quality barrels at a discounted price.

Each rain barrel holds 55 gallons of water, which can be used for gardening, lawn care, and even washing your car. By collecting rainwater, you can reduce your dependence on municipal water supplies. Not only are rain barrels good for the environment, but they can also save you money. By using collected rainwater for your outdoor water needs, you can reduce your water bill and save up to 1,300 gallons of water during the growing season.

Hamilton County SWCD’s rain barrel sale is a great opportunity to get a high-quality rain barrel at a discounted price. Each barrel comes with a mosquito-proof screen and a spigot for easy watering. The upcycled barrels are made from food-grade plastic and come in black or grey. Accessories including diverters for easy installation, stands, and hoses to connect multiple barrels for extra water storage are also available.

To order a rain barrel, visit Hamilton SWCD’s website at www.hamiltonswcd.org/rainbarrels. The cost is $85 per barrel, and preorders must be placed by April 27th. Barrels can be picked up in Noblesville on May 9th. Additional barrels and supplies will be available on a first come first served basis after that date.
