Community Health Network CEO Inducted Into Indiana Boys & Girls Clubs Hall Of Fame

Bryan Mills recognized for his decades of service to community and Clubs.

On Thursday, April 13th at the Sheraton City Centre hotel downtown Indianapolis, Community Health Network President and CEO, Bryan Mills, was presented with the highest award achievable from the Indiana Area Council of Boys & Girls Clubs. As one of the 2023 Hall of Fame inductees, Bryan joined a prestigious group of individuals that have dedicated years of service to their local Boys & Girls Clubs.

“Bryan’s passion and commitment to the Boys & Girls Club Movement along with his exceptional and sustained leadership within our community are beyond worthy of this recognition,” stated BGCN Executive Director, Becky Terry. “I am honored to be able to nominate Bryan for this award alongside my colleague, Maggie Lewis, CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis.”

Bryan was a member of three Boys & Girls Clubs prior to joining the Boys Club of Noblesville (BGCN) in 1974. The Club was a place that he felt accepted and somewhere he knew he belonged. He held onto that feeling and joined the Board of Directors of BGCN in 1996. Bryan’s leadership had a major impact on the organization throughout his tenure on the board. Bryan uses his personal story as a way to highlight the work that Clubs do locally and across the nation. Today, Bryan never shies away from asking others to join him in supporting GREAT

FUTURES for Club Kids.

In 2002, Bryan led a successful capital campaign raising over $4 million to renovate the Conner Street Club and to construct the Community Center. He then diligently served as President of the Board in 2005-2006. Understanding the need for a new facility to effectively serve our youth and our community, Bryan was a cabinet member for the Build & Grow Capital Campaign that raised $6.7 million dollars in 2016 and opened in 2018. Bryan worked a long list of prospects and through his passion and belief in the mission, he secured the naming rights gift to close out the campaign.

Retiring from the Board after 20 years of dedicated service, Bryan continues to work a list of prospects for the annual campaign, sponsors, donates and advocates for the Boys & Girls Club Movement whenever he has the opportunity. He is a sounding board for the current leadership of the Club and is always willing to offer guidance. He and his wife, Cathie, are also members of BGCN’s legacy giving program – the Heritage Club. Bryan generously gives back to his community to ensure future generations of youth have a Boys & Girls Club as a second home.
