Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank Looking For Volunteers And More

Hamilton County Harvest is looking for help from the community. There are two ways to help:

  1. Donate food on May 13.
    • Please check on dates and donate current item. Help by selecting healthy options for families i.e.  no salt added, no sugar added, fruit packed in water, while wheat/whole grain.
    • A current list of foods are; canned chicken and or tuna, Chef Boyardee meat cans, Helper Mixes, Canned Meat Stews or Chunky Meat Soups, Cereal Boxes, Mac and Cheese individual cups or boxes, canned fruits, peanut butter and jelly (small jars preferred), individually packed fruit or applesauce cups, pancake mix, oatmeal packs, pasta sauce (cans preferred), pasta boxes, granola bars, or microwave popcorn.
  2. Volunteer on May 13 at the Fishers or Noblesville Post Offices.
    • Shifts are two hours.
    • Duties consist of unloading mail trucks, weighing food, loading food.
    • Families and students are welcome.
