Dylan Millikan, 30, of Torrance, Calif. and formerly of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday Jan. 5, 2021.
He was born Aug. 6, 1990 to Jeffery Mark and Janice Marie (Pickett) Millikan in Indianapolis.
He was a graduate of Gulf Breeze High School in Gulf Breeze, Fla., Class of 2008. Mr. Millikan started working at Brooks Life Sciences as an Operations Technician, and after a couple of promotions he became a Biobank Supervisor in Los Angeles. He and his wife Nicole were excited to start a new chapter in their lives and fell in love with California.
Mr. Millikan loved to cook (and eat!). He would search for new recipes for the married couple to try. The two of them looked forward to hiking together and spending time at the beach. When he was not cooking or hiking, he would be found gaming on his computer or just working with electronics. He loved his family and looked forward to their visits together.
Survivors include his wife Nicole (Stancil) Millikan; his parents Jeffery and Janice Millikan; siblings Emma Millikan and Matthew (Stacey) Millikan; grandparent Jim Pickett; neices Sophia, Sarah and Megan; his brother-in-law and friend Drake Stancil; mother-in-law Jackie Stancil; father-in-law Stan (Kate) Stancil.
Preceding him in death was his grandparents Donna Pickett, Marjorie Inman and Jack Millikan.
A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date. Because of pandemic restrictions, there will be a private family service on Saturday Jan. 16 at 1 p.m. For those who would like to view the service online, they may do so live on Facebook at Fisher Family Funeral Services.
