Melinda Kay Wilson, 61 of Indianapolis passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019 at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel.
She was born on Oct. 21, 1957 in Indianapolis, IN to Hugh and Jacqueline [Wesner] Wiley.
Mrs. Wilson enjoyed collecting birdhouses and cows. She was an avid Pacer and Colts fan. She loved spending time with her son and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband Larry Wilson; son Ernie (Robin) Wilson; daughter Christina Burgess; grandchildren Katelyn Wilson, Aaron (Donna) Williams, Lori Williams, Hayley (Jimmy) Clark, Austin Williams, and Mark (Jule) Brooks; siblings Pam (Tom) Gonder, Liz (Randy) Bowman, Phil (Rita) Wiley, Sue Inman, Fred (Jan) Wiley, and Ed (Tracey) Wiley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother David Wiley.
Funeral services are scheduled for 4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 9, 2019 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville with Rick Huffman officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects two hours prior to service. The Wilson family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Home with Mrs. Wilson's care.
