Martin J. Turner, 66, of Anderson, passed away Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, at the Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis.
He was born Feb. 18, 1951, in Noblesville, to the late Max O. and Betty J. (Robinson) Turner.
Mr. Turner played guitar and harmonica in a number of local bands. The pinnacle of his music career was that he played background and was a “roadie” for Billy Ray Cyrus.
Survivors include his wife, Madonna (Allgood) Turner; children, Amanda Mosteller, Amber Mosteller, Matthew Turner and Madelon Turner; step-children, Rachel Tyra and Blake Allgood; several grandchildren and one step-grandson.
A celebration of Mr. Turner’s life is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at the Fortville VFW Post #6904 206 S. Main St., Fortville, IN 46040.
