Local Schools in Carmel, Fishers Receive
Supply Kits from Local Verizon Retailer

Carmel Elementary School and Mini Minds Carmel in Carmel, IN, as well as New Britton Elementary School in Fishers, IN, were three of 520 schools nationwide that received teacher appreciation boxes as a part of the annual Teachers Rock Supply Giveaway from Verizon Authorized Retailer, TCC. Appreciation boxes were delivered to selected schools nationwide during the week of Feb. 14.

For the ninth year in succession, TCC, which operates under Round Room LLC, conducted its Teachers Rock Supply Giveaway where participating stores selected a local school to receive a teacher appreciation box to support their educators. Valued at $150 each, these boxes included teacher appreciation items as well as classroom supply items, such as: coffee pods, hot cocoa mix and marshmallows, popcorn, granola bars, tissues, pens, sticky notes, dry erase markers, hand sanitizer and more.

“With the amount of time and effort teachers put in to mold the futures of our children, it’s only fitting to show our support and gratitude towards them through this annual initiative,” said Scott Moorehead, CEO of Round Room, parent company of TCC. “The Teachers Rock Supply Giveaway has become one of our favorite events at TCC each year, and we’re proud to have given back to teachers nationwide for nine years running.” 

The Teachers Rock Supply Giveaway is also the first event of TCC’s 10 Days of Giving, a company-wide celebration leading up to the company’s 10th annual School Rocks Backpack Giveaway, which has donated more than 1.2 million backpacks full of school supplies to students since 2013. As a company, TCC will perform 10 acts of giving for its customers, employees and other members of the communities it operates in nationwide.
