Senator Young Issues Statement on Biden Nomination of Indiana Judge to Federal Appeals Court
Senator Todd Young issued the following statement regarding President Joe Biden’s announcement that he is nominating U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Indiana Doris L. Pryor to the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals:
“Judge Pryor is a public servant of the highest caliber. Her legal experience and expertise would make her an asset to the Seventh Circuit. I look forward to introducing Judge Pryor to my colleagues and supporting her nomination once it comes to the Senate floor.”
The Federal District Court for the Southern District of Indiana is split into four Divisions: Indianapolis, Terra Haute, Evansville and New Albany. Both Hamilton and Marion Counties fall within the Southern District’s jurisdiction.
