Garland Ray Bledsoe

Garland Ray Bledsoe, 82, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022 at his home.
He was born on September 16, 1939 to Ballard and Elizabeth (Johnson) Bledsoe in Jonesville, Virginia.
Mr. Bledsoe graduated from Jonesville High School in 1959. He moved to Indiana after graduation and worked at Conner Prairie managing the hog operation. He then worked at Noblesville Casting (formerly TRW) until his retirement.
Mr. Bledsoe showed his family the meaning of hard work and living humbly. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. He also loved his vegetable garden and sharing his tomatoes with his friends and family. Mr. Bledsoe was a handy man and could fix almost anything, but his treasure in life was his family and many friends.
Survivors include his son Gary (Lisa) Bledsoe; daughter Amy (Corey) Wheeler; six grandchildren Nicole (Andrew) Pearson, Nathaniel Bledsoe, Rachel Bledsoe, Jonathan Bledsoe, Lauren Wheeler and Julia Wheeler; great-grandson Knox Pearson; brothers-in-law Jeff (LaVonna) Dashiell and Jim (Sue) Dashiell; sister-in-law Melissa Dashiell; and friend Mona Pettigrew.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jane Bledsoe; infant daughter Sue Ann Bledsoe; infant brother Clarence Bledsoe; and brother-in-law John Dashiell.
Private graveside service and burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
