Hamilton County Metro Child Exploitation Task Force Makes Arrest

An Anderson man has been arrest and is reportedly being charged with 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography with an aggravating factor. Marcus DeWeese Sr. is being charged with the level five felony as well as 2 counts of Photographing Sexual Conduct with a minor with an aggravating factor which is a level for felony. DeWeese is also being charged with 13 counts of voyeurism, a level 6 felony, and 3 counts of Videotaping Sexual Conduct of a minor, a level 5 felony.

DeWeese was investigated by the Hamilton County Metro Child Exploitation Task Force which is a task force headquartered in the Fishers Police Department. The task force is staffed with detectives from Fishers, Westfield, Carmel, Noblesville, Alexandria, and the Hamilton County Sherriff’s Office. The task force focuses on internet crimes against children and investigates child exploitation cases in Hamilton, Hancock, Madison, and Tipton counties. 

The investigation into DeWeese started after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Digital evidence was collected from his home and child pornography and voyeurism material was located on his phone. DeWeese allegedly used hidden cameras to record victims in various stages of undress at his residence and at his former employer. At this time, all of the victims have been identified and detectives are working on notifying those involved.

DeWeese is currently being held on a $100,000 cash or surety bond at the Madison County Jail. DeWeese is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
