Union Station Display At Sheridan Historical Society Museum
Connie Mossburg and Donna Jessup are two of the many volunteers at the Sheridan Historical Society Museum. Our volunteers are always on the lookout for ways to keep the Museum’s displays fresh and informative no matter the theme. Another display these two and others have worked to put together are an offering of mid-20th century office technology, old fashion toys and dolls, kitchen utensils, and much more. If you have never seen a rotary dial candlestick telephone before, you need to stop by and let us show you one. We also have an old fashion crank-type wall telephone, too.
Our museum has a large collection of old things common to a rural farming community of a hundred years ago. A lot of our display objects have stories behind them, and our docents would love to pass those stories along to you. We hope you will drop by and visit when you have a chance. We are open on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 1 pm to 4 pm and we are located at 315 South Main Street, in beautiful uptown Sheridan, just on the country side of Hamilton County, Indiana.
