Indiana Small Business And Community Stand Up Against Eminent Domain Laws
A public rally for Better, NOT Bigger Government – Eminent Domain, is being planned by Indiana gubernatorial candidate Donald Rainwater, Libertarian Party, at Wilson Farm Market near Arcadia on Saturday, Aug. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
According to a press release, the Wilson Far Market is being forced to vacate the family business by winter of 2024.
The release said this will impact not only the Wilson’s family business, but their employees, local schools, and community members.
Rainwater’s release said that the Wilson Farm Market opened in 1968. The Indiana Department of Transportation has proposed closing off access at East 256th street and US 31 North which will limit direct access to Hamilton Heights Schools as well as Jackson and Adams Townships. Closing access will increase emergency response times to accidents on US 31, as well as neighboring departments assisting in other areas.
