Patricia Ann Hammer

Patricia Ann Hammer,

87, of Indianapolis, passed away August 6, 2024.  She was born July 2, 1937 in Bald Hill, OK, to the late David Franklin and Blanche (Hicks) Crumrine.  Patricia received her associate’s degree in graphic design from Oklahoma State University and married Charles Edward Hammer, who preceded her in death in 2017.  She was employed at the Oklahoma State University Bookstore for a short time before beginning her family with Charles.  Patricia was a beautiful, humorous, and loving woman who never met a stranger she couldn’t charm.  She always treated friends like family and loved hosting celebrations at her home.  Patricia loved to dance and had her own ceramic business for many years.

     Visitation will be Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon at Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel, 3333 East Thompson Road.

     Patricia is survived by her children, Mary Beth Hughes (Clint), Keith Allen Baldwin (Suk), Ronald Lynn Baldwin (Esther), Brenda Ann (Paul) Howard, Alice Rebecca Whalen (Joseph), and Lela Kay Fredrick (Darren); sisters, Mary Lee Roomsburg and Nina Faye Hyde; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Williams; and two grandchildren.
