Elks Offering Four-Year Scholarships
Senior year of high school brings a range of emotions: excitement, relief, sadness, fear. No matter how prepared one may feel for the next stage of life, a strong support system is important to help cope with these feelings.
Ranging from $1,000 to $7,500 per year, Most Valuable Student scholarships are open to high school seniors who will be pursuing a four-year degree, on a full-time basis, in a United States college or university. Five hundred of these four-year scholarships will be awarded to the highest-rated applicants in the 2025 competition.
No connection to the Elks is needed to apply, but once someone is an Elks scholar, they are part of the #ElksFamily for life.
Applications for the 2025 Most Valuable Student scholarship opened on Aug. 1. If you know any high school seniors, encourage them to apply. Applications can be found online at enf.elks.org/MVS. The application deadline is Nov. 12.
The Elks National Foundation awards 500 four-year scholarships based on scholarship, leadership and financial need. National awards range from $1,000 per year to $12,500 per year. To be considered for our local lodge scholarships; to get preferential treatment; your son / daughter must also complete the 2025 MVS application.
