Aspire Names Dr. Holly Oh Chief Medical Officer
Aspire Indiana Health has named Holly Oh M.D. to be its Chief Medical Officer. A pediatrician and seasoned community health advocate, Oh will work to reshape and expand healthcare services for the nonprofit, which has health centers in Hamilton, Boone, Madison and Marion counties.
As the chief architect of Aspire’s clinical strategy, she will lead the development and expansion of primary care medical services, help foster strategic partnerships with other health systems and guide the professional growth of clinical providers at Aspire.
“I’m incredibly thankful for this opportunity with Aspire Indiana Health, an organization that has done so much over the decades to serve some of the most vulnerable people in Indiana,” Oh said. “Working with their dedicated staff, we’re going to do some truly amazing things in the years to come.”
She earned her medical degree at the University of Michigan after obtaining an undergraduate degree in psychology from Brown University. She completed her residency at Children’s Hospital of Boston and Boston Medical Center. She has served in senior leadership and executive roles at healthcare organizations with a history of leading transformational healthcare system change for underserved populations.
“Holly is a preeminent figure in developing innovative models of healthcare delivery to the people who need them most. Aspire is extremely proud to have a clinical leader of her status joining our organization,” said Antony Sheehan, President & CEO. “We have ambitious goals to expand the scope of medical services offered to underserved patients in Central Indiana, and Dr. Oh will be our primary navigator in that journey.”
Aspire is a Federally Qualified Health Center with nine clinics primarily serving Medicaid and Medicare patients. It also provides behavioral healthcare, addiction treatment/recovery facilities and programs addressing social drivers of health such as housing and employment.
