Hamilton Heights High School would like to recognize the following students who were honored with Coffee Bean Awards for January. They are Michael Cain, LiLiana Cook, Hannah England, Braeden Flaherty, Lukas Jackson and Bella McDole.

The name and award, inspired by The Coffee Bean, a book written by Jon Gordon and Damon West, delivers a simple, yet powerful message on positive change. All students nominated receive a certificate of recognition. At the end of the month, the names of the students who were nominated during the month are included in a drawing where the first five-to-seven names drawn are called down to the office to enjoy a hot chocolate or coffee and a donut.

West, a best-selling author and internationally renowned keynote speaker, will be the guest speaker at Hamilton Heights Middle and High Schools later this month to share his message of the incredible power within each person to positively change their lives.

The monthly award objective is to encourage more acts of kindness, positivity, school spirit, and help foster a closer sense of community within the high school. Students and staff can nominate students.

Students can be nominated by visiting the Student Services page at https://hs.hhschuskies.org/
