The community is cordially invited to enjoy Hamilton Heights High School Drama Department’s production of Emma! A Pop Musical – a modern twist on Jane Austen’s timeless tale. Whether you’re a devoted Jane Austen fan or a newcomer to the world of musical theater, this musical promises an evening of entertainment, enchantment, and pure joy.

Emma, a senior at Highbury Prep, is certain she knows what’s best for her classmates’ love lives and is determined to find the perfect boyfriend for shy sophomore Harriet by the end of the school year. But will Emma’s relentless matchmaking get in the way of finding her own happiness? Based on Jane Austen’s classic novel, this sparkling new musical features the hit songs of legendary girl groups and iconic female singers from The Supremes to Katy Perry. Girl power has never sounded so good!

Don’t miss your chance to support this delightful celebration of love, pop culture, and the talented youth at Hamilton Heights. Plan to sing along! The musical is being directed by Brooks Myers, Hamilton Heights Theater teacher and Drama Club Sponsor and Jill Walker, assistant director and Choir teacher. Three shows only: Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday  at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 and can be purchased online in advance or at the door.

All proceeds benefit the High School Drama Department.
