Alabama

A host of local students earned academic honors at the University of Alabama for the Fall Semester period. Students named to the Dean’s List earned a 3/5 or above GPA and those named to the President’s List had an academic record of 4.0.

President’s List

University at Albany

The University at Albany has recognized Jason Burlison of Fishers, majoring in Psychology, for selection to the Fall 2024 Dean’s List. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 or higher in their first semester of study and a GPA of 3.50 or higher in subsequent semesters.

Albion College

Noblesville student Elaina Hendrix was named to Albion College’s Dean’s List at the end of the Fall 2024 semester.

Albion College’s Dean’s List recognizes students who achieve a 3.5 or better GPA while taking four graded courses.

University of Arkansas

Claire Haupt of Fishers was named to the Fall 2024 Chancellor’s List in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Arkansas. To qualify for the Chancellor’s List, students must also achieve at least a 4.00 grade-point average for the semester while completing at least 12 credit hours.

Arkansas Little Rock

Brooke Cummings of Carmel has been named to the Chancellor’s List and the Dean’s List for Fall 2024 at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. UA Little Rock recognizes superior academic performance at the end of each semester. To be named to the UA Little Rock Chancellor’s List, a student must have completed at least nine credit hours with a 3.9 GPA or higher.

Augustana College

Lexi Woodcock, a Communication Studies, Multimedia Journalism and Mass Communication major from Sheridan, was named to Augustana College’s fall semester Dean’s List.

Students who have earned this academic honor have maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a four-point scale for courses taken during the term.

Aurora University

Aurora University has named Lyla Bozoian of Westfield to the Dean’s List for the fall 2024 semester. Bozoian is majoring in Exercise Science and Finance. The Dean’s List recognizes full-time undergraduate students who have earned a 3.6 grade-point average or higher.

Austin Peay State

Austin Peay State University is proud to recognize Kevion Wellington from Indianapolis as one of the students named to the Dean’s List for academic achievement during Fall 2024. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or greater.

Additionally, Austin Peay State University congratulates Ella Barker of Pendleton, on being offered a scholarship for Fall of the 2025-2026 academic year.

Baldwin Wallace

Clare Alic of Carmel, a graduate of St. Theodore Guerin High School and a psychology major, along with Greyson Johnson of Fishers, a graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School majoring in sport management and Spanish, each earned Dean’s List honors for the fall 2024 semester at Baldwin Wallace University. The Dean’s List recognizes students who earn a grade point average of 3.8 or higher while enrolled in 12 or more graded hours during the semester.

Alic is also a sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference midfielder on the Baldwin Wallace University women’s lacrosse team. She was recently named the OAC Offensive Athlete of the Week for the second time in her career.

Bismarck State College

Taylor Hackel, Noblesville, has been named to the President’s Honor Roll with a 4.00 GPA for the Fall 2024 semester at Bismarck State College. Students must maintain at least a 3.50 grade point on a 4.00 scale while enrolled in at least 12 semester hours of classes to qualify for the BSC President’s Honor Roll.

Bucknell University

Ava Aguilar, a political science major from Fishers, earned dean’s list honors for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2024-25 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean’s list recognition. 

Hannah Kim, a mechanical engineering major from Carmel was one of a few select students who earned a mentorship in Bucknell’s Division of Equity and Inclusive Excellence.

Capital University

Capital University is pleased to announce Mackenzie Howard, of Carmel, was named to the President’s List for the fall 2024 semester. Capital has three lists denoting academic distinction among full-time, degree-seeking students: the President’s List, Provost’s List, and Dean’s List. The President’s List indicates the highest level of academic distinction. To be named to the President’s List, students must have achieved a grade point average of at least 3.85.

Carthage College

Congratulations to several local students who have been named to the Carthage College Fall 2024 Dean’s List! Dean’s List honors are accorded to Carthage students who achieve a minimum 3.5 grade-point average while carrying at least 12 letter-graded credits in a given semester.

Local students are: Jada Propst of Noblesville, Kara Jaynes, Jordan Bopp, Ty Schnepper and Ravynn Hill all of Fishers and Sierra Pienkowski of McCordsville.

In addition, Probst traveled as part of Carthage’s 2025 J-Term, working on the course Geography and Biology of Nicaragua. J-Term, or January Term, is a special month-long period of study in which Carthage students explore subjects outside their majors or minors, discover new interests, and test their creativity through classes held around the world. Nearly 200 Carthage students participated in one of 11 study tours offered in January.

Cedarville University

A group of local students earned honors at Cedarville University for the Fall 2024 Semester. Making the Dean’s Honor List were Ariella Vanderlaan and Abigail Williamson of Noblesville, Corren Brown of Westfield, Savannah Atkins and Genna Rose of Fishers, Grace Moran and Summer Park of Carmel, Marco Leombruni of Mccordsville and Peter Henrichsen and Abigail Miller of Indianapolis. This recognition requires the student to obtain a 3.75 GPA or higher for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.

In addition, several local students were named to the Cedarville Dean’s List for the Fall 2024 semester. This recognition requires the student to obtain a 3.50 GPA or higher for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Included in the honors were Caleb Gates and Christopher Vaught of Fishers, Megan Langford and Daniel Leatherwood of Carmel, and Benjamin Burger, Isabella Frazier and Katherine Henrichsen of Indianapolis.

College of Charleston

Several local students were named to the President’s List and the Dean’s List for Winter 2024 at the College of Charleston. They are: Lindsey Bork of Noblesville (President’s List and majoring in Studio Art), Sophia Brown of Westfield (President’s List and majoring in Psychology), Ethan Howard of Fishers (Dean’s List and undecided major), Jenna Smith of Fishers (President’s List, majoring in Accounting), Julia Keadle of Carmel (Dean’s List and majoring in Arts Management), and from Indianapolis, Kailey Crose (Dean’s List and majoring in Marketing), Catherine Koschnick (Dean’s List and majoring in Political Science) and Audra Stanley (Dean’s List and majoring in Psychology).

The Citadel

Thadeus O’Neill of Westfield was recognized for earning inclusion on the President’s List for the fall 2024 semester. The President’s List is one of the most distinguished cadet awards presented by The Citadel. The list is a combination of the dean’s list and the Commandant’s Distinguished List and is composed of cadets who contribute the most to their companies while maintaining excellent military and academic records.

In addition, Gavin Coulter of Carme was awarded gold stars for fall 2024 at The Citadel, as was Aiden Raab of Tipton.

All three students also earned Dean’s List honors. Cadets on that list must have 12 or more semester hours and a grade point average at 3.20 or higher, with no grade of I (Incomplete) and no grade below C for work in a semester.

University of the Cumberlands

Jacob Ingle of Noblesville and Kathryn Harrison of Carmel both earned Dean’s List honors at the University of the Cumberlands for the fall 2024 semester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours (a full course load), maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 for the semester, and be in good academic standing.

Also, Lanie Nish of Indianapolis, was named to the President’s List for the fall 2024 semester. To be eligible for the President’s List, students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours (a full course load), maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 4.0 for the semester, receive an “A” grade in UC Engage, and be in good academic standing.

Elmhurst University

Ethan Mason of Noblesville and Jack Cherry and Ryan Wells of Carmel earned Fall 2024 Dean’s List Honors at Elmhurst University. The Dean’s List is composed of students who during the term concerned, attained a grade-point average of 3.75 or higher (out of a possible 4.00).

University of Evansville

A host of local students at the University of Evansville were named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2024 Semester. To merit the honor of being placed on the Dean’s List, a student must have carried a full academic load of 12 hours or more and have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or above. The local students are: Caroline Hayward, Esther Knoll and Brayden Doll of Noblesville; Camryn Runner of Cicero; Nandini Mathavan, Catherine Byrne and Evelena Fenter of Carmel; Ishaan Prasad, Saif Abdrabu, Emily Bickel, Mackenzie Carter, Olivia Holding, Hailey St. Louis and Victoria Vance of Fishers;

Jaskaran Saini of McCordsville; Camille Spencer of Pendleton; and Brinli Helms of Indianapolis.

Flagler College

Morgan Hicks of Noblesville was among a distinguished group of students who were recognized for their academic excellence earlier this month.

The President’s List is compiled in recognition of students achieving a high standard of academic excellence and is distributed by the Office of Academic Affairs. To qualify for this award, Hicks a Criminology major, had to earn at least a 4.0 GPA with at least 12 semester hours of graded credit.

Franklin College

Several local students were named to the dean’s list at Franklin College. They completed a minimum of 12 credit hours during a regular semester, earning a grade point average of at least 3.5 but less than 4.0.

Congratulations to Kaylee Rhoton, a sophomore, from Cicero, Jonathan Hicks, a senior, from Westfield, freshmen Jacob Carroll and Colin Goley from Fishers and

Jamie Schlieper, a sophomore, from Carmel.

Freed-Hardeman University

Elayna Reynolds, of Noblesville, and Natalie Barker, of Fortville earned Dean’s List honors at Freed-Hardeman University. Reynolds is a senior and Barker a sophomore.

To be on the President’s List, a student must be full-time and have a 4.0 grade point average. Students on the Dean’s List have earned a minimum 3.4 grade point average for the semester.

Furman University

David Gabrick and Kayla White of Carmel earned Dean’s List status for the fall semester at Furman University. Furman’s dean’s list is composed of full-time undergraduate students who earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher on a four-point system. Gabrick’s parents are Michael Gabrick and Elizabeth Gabrick. White’s parents are Nicholas White and Michele White.

Georgia Tech

Aparupa Brahma of Fishers and Shea Harrell of Carmel students earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for Fall 2024 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 4.0 academic average for the semester.

Additionally, Abhijay Salvi of Westfield, Lauren Caldwell of Fishers and Sneha Vashistha of Carmel earned the distinction of Dean’s List at the Georgia Institute of Technology for Fall 2024. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.

And earning degrees during the school’s 267th Commencement were Mitchell Tanney of Noblesville, George Boles and Shea Harrell of Carmel and Lance Bertsch and Ethan Piper of Indianapolis.

Hamilton College

Jane Jeong, of Noblesville has been named to the Dean’s List at Hamilton College for the fall 2024 semester. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must be a member of the Class of 2025, 2026, or 2027 and have carried a course load of four or more graded credits throughout the semester and earned an average GPA of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale.Jeong, a senior majoring in cinema and media studies, is a graduate of Noblesville High School.

Indiana University

Rayan Duffy of Noblesville has been named to Orr Fellowship’s newest cohort for 2025. She is among 74 talented college seniors who have been matched with leading Indiana-based partner companies to embark on a two-year Fellowship upon graduation.  She will be partnered with The Heritage Group. Orr Fellowship is an early career development program for versatile high-achievers and future-focused businesses in Indiana. The program recruits, assesses and matches university graduates with high-agency roles in growing Indiana businesses.

Iowa University

Aratrika Banerjee of Fishers was among the more than 1,000 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa named to the president’s list for the 2024 fall semester. Undergraduates who achieve a grade point average (GPA; 4.0 is an A) of 4.0 in 12 semester hours or more of UI graded coursework and who have no “I” marks (incompletes) or “O” marks (no grade reported) on their records for two consecutive semesters (excluding summer session) are recognized by inclusion on the president’s list.

In addition, six Hamilton County students earned Dean’s List honors. They are: Genysee Mihaichuk of Noblesville, Lillian McVay, Nikhil Mehta and Aratrika Banerjee of Fishers and Rachel Drew and Elana Seitz of Carmel.

Iowa State University

Madison Pooser, a senior interior design major and Reagan Wilson, a first-year management major, both earned Dean’s List honors at Iowa State for the fall semester University. Students named to the Dean’s List must earn a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work. The students are from Noblesville.

Upper Iowa University

Oshuntique Alves, a Business Admin major from Fishers, earned Dean’s List honors for the Fall 2024 semester at Upper Iowa University. To be honored, the undergraduate must have earned a minimum 3.50 GPA and be enrolled as a full-time student.

Kennesaw State University

Jenna Chase of Fishers, an Exercise Science-Interest major, and Mika Ann Maas of McCordsville, majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering, both earned President’s List honors in recognition of their academic excellence for the Fall 2024 semester. To achieve this honor, each undergraduate student must have completed at least nine credit hours with a term grade point average of 4.0.

In addition, Fiona Taylor of Indianapolis was named to the school’s Fall 2024 Dean’s List.

University of Kentucky

Five local students were among more than 2,000 undergraduate students who qualified for the Fall 2024 College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s List at the University of Kentucky. They are: Maci Huber-Hopper and Shelby Hodge of Noblesville; Jack Phillips of Fishers; Kennedy Maye of Carmel; and Caroline Keltner of Indianapolis.

Kutztown University

Mia Ross Igneri of Fishers was recently named to the Fall 2024 Dean’s List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Lewis University

Two Hamilton County students were among more than 1,700 students were honored on the Lewis University Dean’s List for the 2024 Fall Semester. Jonathan Kosycarz of Fishers and Seth Nanna of Carmel achieved the high honor. Kosycarz is studying Aviation Flight Technology at Lewis University Aviation Science Technology and Nanna is studying Business Administration at Lewis University Business.

Loras College

Cana Duckworth from Carmel achieved Dean’s List status at Loras College in Iowa for the 2024 fall semester. A student must earn a 3.5 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours to be recognized.

Manchester University

The following local students earned a place on the Fall 2024 Dean’s List for their academic achievements at Manchester University:

Undergraduate students earning a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher who have completed at least 12 semester hours with no more than three hours of Pass/Not Pass grades are included on the Dean’s List. Students with more than one hour of Incomplete (I) or Not Recorded (NR) grades at the end of the semester are not eligible for the Dean’s List.

Marquette University

The following local students have been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2024 semester at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Nathan Goergen (Political Science) and Brooks Holtkamp (Philosophy) from Noblesville; Allison Bullock (Physician Assistant Studies) from Westfield’ and from Carmel, Elena Harrie (Nursing).
To make the Dean’s List, students must have earned at least 12 credits for the fall 2024 semester and have no disqualifying grades. The GPA threshold varies by college – for the College of Education and the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences, undergraduate students must have at least a 3.7 to be named to the Dean’s List. 

In addition, Tori Kalman of Fishers graduated from Marquette with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.

Maryland Global Campus

Six local students were part of more than 16,000 University of Maryland Global Campus students who were named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2024 term. To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earned a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.

The local students are: Blake Mcdonald and Ricardo Nathan of Fishers, Brian Phan and Rutger Vermeullen of Carmel, Claire Uglum of Westfield and Jayden Weileman of Indianapolis.

In addition, Ricardo Nathan of Fishers earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management and Karis Mattingly of Carmel earned a Bachelor of Science Summa Cum Laude/President’s List in Psychology. Both graduated in the fall 2024 tern.

McKendree University

Kyle Cortner of Fishers was named to the McKendree University fall 2024 semester Dean’s List for earning a grade point average of 3.60 or higher.

Miami University

Miami University students ranked in the top 3 percent of undergraduate students within each division for the fall 2024 semester have been named to the President’s list recognizing academic excellence. A large contingency of local students were included this semester in the honor. They include Anastasia Damick of Noblesville;

Midway University

Katelynn Miller of Atlanta has been named to its Dean’s List for the 2024 Fall Semester at Midway University. To be named to the list, a student must be classified full-time and obtain a 3.60 grade point average for the semester. There were 424 students who made the Dean’s List.

Millikin University

Matthew Kordesh of Fishers, Kendallyn Davison of Westfield and Sarah Semon of Indianapolis made the High Dean’s List for Fall 2024 at Millikin University. Students who attempt 12 graded credits during a fall or spring semester and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher earn Dean’s List honors. Students earning a perfect 4.00 grade point average on 12 graded credits attempted earn High Dean’s List honors.

Milwaukee School of Engineering

Dani Mendez of Noblesville and Cameron Konicek of Carmel earned 2024 Fall Semester Dean’s List honors at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Mendez is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Konicek is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

University of Minnesota Duluth

Adam Bauer, a sophomore from Westfield, earned Dean’s List honors for Fall Semester 2024. Students on the Dean’s List have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher while earning a minimum of 12 letter-graded credits.

University of Mississippi

One student from Noblesville and five from Fishers were recently honored when they achieved Chancellor’s Honor Roll. Amelia Mays, of Noblesville, is in the B.A. in Allied Health Studies program. From Fishers, Kylie Clement, in the B.A.Ed. in Special Education program Kaylee Etheredge, in the B.B.A. in Finance program; Paige Goodnight, in the B.S. in Integrated Mktg. Communications program; Elizabeth Sliwa, in the B.S. in Biological Science program; and Sidney Sloan, in the B.A.Ed. in Elementary Education program. The Chancellor’s Honor Roll is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00.

In addition, three students from Carmel achieved inclusion in the Dean’s Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74. They are: Braedon McIntyre, in the B.S.B.E. in Biomedical Engineering program; Claire Medley, in the B.S. in Integrated Mktg. Communications program; and Hallie Reeves, in the B.S. in Integrated Mktg. Communications program.

Mississippi State

Gabrielle Amos of Cicero was named to the Mississippi State University fall 2024 President’s List. Students on the President’s List achieved a 3.80 or better grade-point average, based on a 4.0 scale, while completing at least 12 semester hours of coursework with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C. After earning President’s List honors, she was among approximately 1,500 students graduating, receiving her Bachelor of Business Adm Summa Cum Laude from MSU’s College of Business.

Missouri State University

Savannah McClure of Noblesville and Madelynn Ayen of Fishers earned Dean’s List honors at Missouri State for the fall 2024 term. For undergraduate students, criteria include enrollment in at least 12 credit hours during the fall semester and at least a 3.50 grade point average (on a 4.00 scale).

Also at MSU, Andre Simmons of Noblesville graduated with honors and a Master of Business Administration degree. Students who graduated with honors completed at least 30 credit hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.

Monmouth College

Megan Dailey, a social science education major from Pendleton, has made the Dean’s List at Monmouth College for the Fall 2024 semester. To achieve the honor, a student needed at least a 3.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale while earning at least three academic credits.

Mount Union

The University of Mount Union has announced that Jaci Scherb, of Carmel has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2024 semester.

Scherb was one of 801 students named to the Dean’s List. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours of traditionally graded coursework while achieving a grade point average of 3.550 or better with no letter grade below a B.

Nebraska

Two local students were part of more than 7,300 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students named to the Deans’ List for the fall semester of the 2024-25 academic year.

They are: Reese Elle Keetle of Carmel, a freshman marketing major and Lucy Elizabeth Loy, a senior accounting major from Fishers. Both earned the honor in Nebraska’s College of Business.

Qualification for the Deans’ List varies among the eight undergraduate colleges and the Explore Center. Listed below are the minimum requirements for each entity and the name of its respective dean or director. All qualifying grade-point averages are based on a four-point scale and a minimum number of graded semester hours. Students can be on the Deans’ List for more than one college.

The College of New Jersey

Nicholas Viola, a Computer Engineering major from Fishers, earned the esteemed honor of placement on the Dean’s List at The College of New Jersey for the fall 2024 semester. To achieve this honor, a student must carry 12 or more credits that semester and earn a 3.5 (or above) grade point average.

Northern Illinois University

Samuel Divis, a health science-pre-physical therapy major from Noblesville and Aubrey Robertson, a nutrition, dietetics & wellness major from Fishers earned Dean’s List honors at Northern Illinois. To earn this distinction, students must meet a minimum semester grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale in the College of Engineering and Engineering Technology or a minimum of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale in the colleges of Business, Education, Health and Human Sciences, Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Visual and Performing Arts.

In additional NIU news, Fishers’ Courtney James earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Educ in SPED-Learning Behavior Specialist I with PEL. She joined more than 1,150 students who received their degrees from Northern Illinois University in December.

Olivet Nazarene University

Ethan Austin of Noblesville, Broderick McAfee of Westfield, Matios Benson and Tyler Hall of Fishers and Kyle Byers and Will Byers of Carmel earned Dean’s List status at Olivet Nazarene for the Fall 2024 Semester. To qualify for inclusion on the Dean’s List, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale.

Purchase College

Elise McIntyre has been named to Purchase College’s Dean’s List for the Fall 2024 semester. McIntyre, who is a resident of Noblesville, is studying Theatre Design/Technology. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 for Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science programs and 3.75 for Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Music Performance programs. They must take a minimum of 12 credits.

Roger Williams University

Cara Harvey, of Fishers has been named to the Fall 2024 Dean’s List at Roger Williams University, in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean’s List that semester.

Saint Mary’s

A dozen Hamilton County students were honored at St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Ind. by earning inclusion on the fall 2024 Dean’s List.

Noblesville: Kori Dues, Miley Smith and Sarah Whitten.

Carnel: Shannon Larkey, Grace Leber, Odessa Norton, Sadee Paulson, Savannah Paulson, Kathryn Tiplick and Eleanor York.

Samford University

Samford University recognized 2,230 students named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2024 semester. Seven local students were included in that list.

To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. The Dean’s List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.

Seton Hall University

Seton Hall University is pleased to announce Josephine Wise of Fishers has qualified for the Fall 2024 Dean’s List.

After the close of every semester, undergraduate students completing all courses with a GPA of 3.4, with no grades lower than “C”, qualify for the Dean’s List.

University of Southern Indiana

In recognition of outstanding academic achievement, the University of Southern Indiana Dean’s List has been released for the 2024 Fall Semester. Dr. Shelly Blunt, USI Provost, announced a total of 2,088 undergraduate students were named to the Dean’s List.       

Undergraduate students must achieve a 3.5 or better semester GPA (on a 4.0 system) to be named to the list. The concert is free and open to the public.

Also in Trine student news, Grace Dubec, a management major from Carmel, finished eighth in the nation in the Corporate Partnerships division at the annual National Collegiate Sports Sales Championship (NCSSC) competition, held Jan. 21 and 22 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Ga.

Brock Barger, a marketing major from Westfield, placed second in the Trine Sales and Marketing Association held its second annual KSB Collegiate Sales Cup.

Trinity Christian College

Kara VanDyke of Fishers earned Dean’s List honors at Trinity Christian College for the fall 2024 term. The Dean’s List is Trinity Christian College’s highest academic honor. It is recognized for traditional undergraduate students who achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or better in 12 or more credits with grade points.

Tufts University

Angela Chen, Class of 2025 of Westfield, was named to the dean’s list at Tufts University for the fall 2024 semester. Dean’s list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

Wabash College

Wabash College has announced that 47 Hamilton County students are on the Dean’s List for the fall 2024 semester. These students maintained a 3.5 grade point average or better on a 4.0-point scale.

University of West Alabama

Evan Bourdon has been named to the University of West Alabama’s Fall 2024 Dean’s List for outstanding academic achievement. An Engineering Technology major from Sheridan, Bourdon is a member of the class of 2028.

The Dean’s List gives recognition to those undergraduate students those with grade-point averages between 3.25 and 3.79, completing at least twelve semester credit hours, with no grade lower than a “C.”

Western Carolina University

Samantha Smith of Carmel was named to the Western Carolina University Fall 2024 Chancellor’s List. To qualify for the Chancellor’s List, students must earn a GPA of 3.8 or higher while completing a minimum of 12 credit hours. Students named to the Chancellor’s List are also named to the Dean’s List.

Wichita State University

Dhruveer Singh from Fishers earned a Master of Science in Management Science & Supply Chain Management at Wichita State University.

William & Mary

Hannah Jackson of Cicero and Martina Queijo of Carmel were recently named to the Dean’s List at the College of William & Mary for the fall 2024 semester.

In order to achieve Dean’s List status, a full-time degree seeking undergraduate student must take at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.6 Quality Point Average during the semester. 

University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire

Emma Friesth of Fishers earned inclusion to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire fall 2024 deans list. Friesth is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences. To be eligible, a student must: Be in good academic standing; have a minimum semester GPA of 3.70; have completed at least 12 credits during the semester, with no incompletes, no courses below the 100 level, no repeats and no Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory registrations.

University of Wisconsin-Madison

Seven Hamilton County students earned Dean’s List honors at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for the fall semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.

The seven are Joe Augustine and Emma Langsford, both from Fishers and both in the College of Letters and Science. Five students were from Carmel – Madeline Balanoff (School of Education), Lauren Kennedy (School of Education), Rainie Lin (College of Letters and Science), Brooke Thoren (College of Letters and Science) and Elyse Wiener (College of Agricultural & Life Science). Students who achieve at a high level academically are recognized by the dean at the close of each semester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester.

UW- Platteville

Izzy Streeter, a Marketing major at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, earned Dean’s List honors for the fall 2024 Semester. Dean’s List, honors those full-time students who earned a grade-point average of 3.75 and above in the fall 2024 semester.

UW-Stevens Point

Sarah Winchell of Fishers earned Highest Honors for the Fall 2024-25 semester at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Full-time undergraduates who earned grade points of 3.90 to 4.0 (4.0 equals straight A) are given the highest honors designation. 

UW-Whitewater

Ashnaya Gupta from Carmel, who is studying Human Performance at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, has earned a roster spot on the Warhawk gymnastics team for the 2025 season. UW-Whitewater placed second at both the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference/National Collegiate Gymnastics Association West Regional Championship and the NCGA National Championships in 2024.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute

Worcester Polytechnic Institute announced that Devin Mihaichuk of Noblesville, a member of the class of 2026 majoring in Computer Science, was named to the university’s Dean’s List for academic excellence for the fall 2024 semester. The criteria for the WPI Dean’s List differ from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average. Instead, WPI students are named to the Dean’s List based on the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and hands-on projects.

Youngstown State University

Madeline Bellaver of Fishers, majoring in Nursing, has been named to the Dean’s List at Youngstown State University for Fall Semester 2024.

Dean’s List recognition is awarded to full-time undergraduate students who have earned at least a 3.4 grade point average for not less than 12 semester hours of credit in the Fall semester.
