City, SMC Celebrate Arbor Day 

Noblesville Mayor Chris Jensen will join SMC Corporation of America Executives, Noblesville Tree Board, volunteers and neighbors to plant trees and celebrate Arbor Day this afternoon in Wellington NE.

These grants mark the second year the city and SMC have collaborated on the tree-planting grant program. Wellington NE is one of the 2025 grant recipients and will have 14 trees planted in the subdivision.

The City of Noblesville was also named a 2025 Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation in honor of its commitment to effective urban forest management. It is the 35th consecutive year Noblesville has earned this national distinction.

Jensen will be joined by SMC President and CEO Kelley Stacy, Noblesville Tree Board members and Noblesville’s Urban Forester John Easley at 4:30 p.m. near Herriman Blvd. & Wellington Pkwy. and Wellington Pkwy. & Landsdowne Dr.
