Kevin Martin Joins Aspire Indiana Health Board
Kevin Martin has been named to the Aspire Indiana Health Board of Directors, bringing a wealth of business experience across multiple industries and disciplines.
Martin has held a wide range of C-suite and business ownership positions including President & Founder of Martin Equity, LLC and a former operating partner role with Johnson Ventures. As a financial expert and business advisor, he has a long track record of helping grow businesses and navigate complex partnerships and acquisitions.
“I welcome the opportunity to join the Aspire board. The work their team does to deliver physical and mental health services in the communities it serves is very impressive and helps so many in need,” Martin said.
Aspire is a nonprofit community health system with locations in Boone, Hamilton, Madison and Marion counties, primarily serving Medicaid/Medicare populations and Hoosiers with complex health challenges. Its services include primary medical care, behavioral health therapy, substance abuse disorder treatment, recovery facilities and programs addressing social drivers of health such as employment and housing.
The company has continued to grow at a rapid pace, rolling out new initiatives including expanded medical and pharmacy services.
“As Aspire Indiana Health looks for more and better ways to serve people facing barriers to healthcare, we need someone with Kevin’s business acumen, relationships, and knowledge of community need to help steer us in the best direction for smart, sustainable growth,” said Antony Sheehan, Aspire President & CEO. “We’re thrilled he has accepted our invitation to join our board and look forward to having his counsel for years to come.”
Aspire Board Chair Michael Collette added, “Through Kevin’s appointment we are strengthening our Board’s capacity and capability, deepening our connection to Marion County, and bringing in entrepreneurial skills that can only benefit Aspire moving forward. I’m so grateful Kevin is now part of our team.” Martin received bachelor’s and MBA degrees from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, and received a CPA license, now inactive. He has served on numerous boards including current appointments with The Orchard School and Brightlane Learning.
