Noblesville Schools Earn National Recognition

Noblesville Schools announced that they have been recognized nationally with honors in both STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and music education.

The district was named a 2025 Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Distinguished District for providing broad access to transformative STEM learning opportunities, and a national Best Community for Music Education by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation.

Noblesville Schools has received the music education honor for 11 consecutive years and the STEM honor for eight consecutive years.

The STEM recognition honors schools committed to increasing student access, engagement, and achievement in their PLTW STEM programs. To be eligible for the designation, schools had to offer a variety of PLTW STEM courses and have a significant portion of students participating in them, while students had to demonstrate mastery in the content and continuation in the programming.

The national music education recognition highlights school districts for their outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students, and community leaders in embracing music education as a part of the core school curriculum.

Districts were selected based on music funding, staffing of highly qualified music teachers, commitment to standards, and access to music instruction.

Noblesville Schools offers more than 30 music classes and 17 hands-on STEM courses (in addition to traditional math and science classes) across all grade levels.
