Vikan North America to Relocate to Westfield With $11.2M Investment

Vikan North America, a global leader in hygienic cleaning solutions for the food and beverage industry, has announced plans to relocate its U.S. operations to Westfield, investing $11.2 million in a new 80,000-square-foot warehouse and office facility and bringing 56 high-wage jobs to the community by the end of 2026. The facility will be located at the southeast corner of 196th and East Streets. 

“Westfield is honored to be the new home for Vikan North America,” said Mayor Scott Willis. “This investment not only strengthens our growing industrial sector but also supports my administration’s vision to better balance our city’s commercial and residential tax base. Their relocation not only b rings high-quality jobs to our community but also plays a crucial role in attracting innovative global companies, which is key to our local economy.”

Founded more than 125 years ago, Vikan’s products are protected by international patents, including their award-winning Ultra Safe Technology line of brushes, brooms, and squeegees. Their HyGo mobile sanitation station is also setting new standards for cleanliness and efficiency in food production environments. 

Beyond its cutting-edge tools, Vikan also offers tailored customer support and training services, including complimentary on-site surveys, zoning plan development, and tool maintenance programs. The company’s industry-leading bank of hygiene and regulatory insights makes it an invaluable partner to food and beverage manufacturers worldwide.
