Shaun Aaron Slinkard

Shaun Aaron Slinkard, 32, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 8, 2021.

He was born on Sept. 6, 1989, in Noblesville, Ind., to Steven D. Slinkard and Lori J. Clark McCarty.

Mr. Slinkard worked as a deck hand in the Shrimp Boat industry. He was a Christian believer in God. He was smart, loving and compassionate person. Mr. Slinkard was a talented artist playing guitar and drums. He could do anything he set his mind to do, always making others smile and laugh. Mr. Slinkard will be so very much missed by many friends and family. His family loves and miss him dearly!

Survivors include his son, Eli Slinkard; his parents, Steven D. Slinkard and Lori J. McCarty; grandmothers, Thelma Clark and Carolyn Parham; brothers, Gregory Lockheart, Steven Groves and Steven L. Slinkard; sisters, Heather Zeller, Sabrina and Savannah Slinkard; and his niece, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Luke; grandfathers, Kenneth Clark and Donnie Parham; great-grandparents, Frederick and Irene Stephenson, Roy and Freda Pershing and Billy Murphree.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
