Adam Michael Gordon Johnson

Adam Michael Gordon Johnson, 17, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on Sunday morning, Dec. 18, 2022, in Tipton County.

He was born in Marion County on Sept. 20, 2005, son of Michael Chad Johnson and Nakita Aldridge.

Mr. Johnson was a 2022 graduate of Kokomo High School. He was an avid gamer who enjoyed coding and server creation. He was also a content creator for the Youtube and Twitch platforms.

Family was a very important part of his life. Mr. Johnson loved reading and telling bedtime stories to his siblings. Whenever there was a need within the family, or his circle of friends, he was always the first one there to help. Being kind, respectful, and putting others before himself was how he chose to live his life.

Mr. Johnson’s smile was infectious, and he always loved being the life of the party.

Everyone who knew him lost a piece of their heart when he left us. He was a great friend to all and had an amazing impact on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Survivors include his parents Michael Chad Johnson and Nakita Aldridge; second parents (aunt and uncle) Cody and Elizabeth Petro; maternal grandfather Gordon Ledbetter; 5 brothers Tucker Aldridge, Dalton Johnson and Garrett Johnson, all of Windfall, and Noah Petro and Jonah Petro of Kokomo; sister Michelle Johnson of Windfall; feline BFF Carole Baskin; and dog Otis.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Yvonne Petro.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled to take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022, in the Sheridan High School/Middle School Auditorium, 3030 West 246th St., Sheridan, with visitation scheduled to run from 4 p.m. until the time of service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kercheval Funeral Home in Sheridan.
