Local Executive Named to IMA Board of Directors

The Indiana Manufacturers Association has named its 2023 Chair, Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Among those announced as Board Members was Tom Merrell, General Manager at IDI Composites International in Noblesville

Additionally, Rachel Osting, Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel for Fort Wayne Metals Research Products, was named 2023 Chair.

As Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel, Rachel Osting is responsible for the company’s legal function, including corporate governance, contract review and negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property protection, and litigation oversight.

With the ever-increasing and complex regulatory landscape, Osting’s responsibilities also include leading the company’s export and trade compliance programs and directing other product regulatory aspects applicable to a global company supplying into the medical device and aerospace industries.

She has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Toledo and a J.D. from Capital University Law School, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
