Carmel FOP Announces Mayoral Candidate Endorsement

The Carmel FOP Lodge 185 is once again proud to announce the endorsement of Mayoral candidate Sue Finkam in the upcoming general election. Sue demonstrated her tenacity and drive for success in the primary election. She won a hard-fought campaign through prioritizing public safety, transparency, and listening to what Carmel residents want from their next Mayor. While working alongside Sue during this campaign, we have heard from numerous residents that crime prevention is their top priority.

Our city is constantly targeted by those who want to take what we have built. In the past year we have seen a 27% rise in thefts, 22% rise in motor vehicle thefts, and 20% rise in burglaries. We must stand strong to keep our community safe and protect our quality of life. The Carmel FOP remains steadfast that this community deserves nothing less than the finest police officers in the nation, through recruitment and retention. Sue Finkam understands the need for a stronger police force now more than ever, so that we continue to remain one of the safest cities in America.
