Hamilton County Encourages Residents To Apply For County-Appointed Boards
Deadline for Applications is November 15
The Hamilton County Council is asking residents to apply for upcoming appointments to a variety of boards. In the past, appointments have been made through word of mouth. They are now administered through an online portal.
“We have seats on several boards expiring in the coming months,” says Ken Alexander, President of the County Council. “The deadline to apply for next year is November 15. The council will meet to discuss the applications and vote on a slate of appointees at our December meeting.”
The online process, which was put into place last year, lists each of the county-appointed board seats along with their roles and responsibilities. Anyone interested in filling a county-appointed board seat should complete the form with their credentials and experience.
Applications for the following boards are now live at https://www.hamiltoncounty.in.gov/1755/Interested-in-Appointment-Opportunities.
