Regina Carter-McCullough

Regina Lynn Carter-McCullough, age 52, of Sheridan, Indiana, passed away on Monday afternoon, March 11, 2024, at Maple Park Village in Westfield, Indiana.  Born September 22, 1971, in Noblesville, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Charles Burnard Carter, Sr. and Linda Mae (Reeves) Carter.

Regina was a 1990 graduate of Sheridan High School, and for the last 17 years, has worked for Wesco Commercial Lighting Company as a billing specialist.

There was nothing more important to Regina than her family (both 2-legged and 4-legged).  Her grandson was her world.  Her house was the place to be for holiday celebrations, and as with any family gathering, food was always a big part of the festivities.  Regina loved to cook and entertain, so when family get togethers (Christmas being her favorite) would come around, she was right in her element. 

Regina also enjoyed reading and watching movies.  As far as movies were concerned, she didn’t really have a favorite genre… action and adventure, as well as comedies were always on the list, but sometimes Regina just needed a movie that could give her a good cry.

There is a special place in this world and beyond for people that have a deep love for animals.  Regina was one of those people.  She loved her Boston Terriers, as well as any other critter that was lucky enough to cross her path.

Regina is survived by her loving husband, Michael Andrew McCullough.  She and Michael were married on December 9, 2016.  Also surviving are her 2 stepdaughters, Michelle McCullough and Britney McCullough; grandson, Brantly McCullough of Sheridan; brother, Charles B. Carter, Jr. (Joann) of Sheridan; niece, Stephanie Carter-Markfort (Chase) of Elwood; father and mother-in-law, Michael C. and Brenda J. McCullough of Ocala, Florida; many cousins, aunts, and uncles; and by her new puppies, Hank and Lola.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Charles Burnard Carter, Sr. and Linda Mae (Reeves) Carter; and by her fur babies, Jack, Sadie, and Jax.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Crown View Cemetery in Sheridan, Indiana.  Pastor George Cooper will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, or to the Hamilton County Humane Society.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kercheval Funeral Home of Sheridan.
