Art Exhibit Now Open at Cool Creek Nature Center
Hamilton County Parks and Recreation is celebrating the 20th year of its Nature’s Inspirations art exhibit at the Cool Creek Nature Center, open now through Sunday during nature center hours of operation. The exhibit showcases artwork inspired by nature, with some pieces available for purchase. Proceeds support local artists and the parks department.
“This exhibit is a fantastic way to support local artists while celebrating the nature that inspires their work,” said Chris Stice, HCPR Director. “We’re happy to offer a platform for local talent and to encourage the community’s appreciation of nature through art.”
The exhibit features a range of artwork in diverse mediums, including photography, paintings, and sculptures, all focused on wildlife and landscapes. Amanda Smith, HCPR Superintendent of Natural Resources, shared, “We’re thrilled to have many returning artists as well as first-time artists submit their work to Nature’s Inspirations. Each piece brings a unique perspective and allows the audience to feel a powerful connection to nature.”
The free exhibit is a wonderful opportunity for art lovers, families, and nature enthusiasts to come together and appreciate the creativity and beauty that stems from the natural environment. Visit the Cool Creek Nature Center (Monday-Saturday 10 am-5 pm, Sunday 1-5 pm) now through March 9th to experience this exceptional celebration of art and nature, and enjoy the other free activities, animals, and learning opportunities at the nature center.
