Art Classes Offered in Carmel
Classes with masters of traditional arts and crafts are being scheduled at Indiana Artisan Gifts & Gallery. Customers have long asked for this kind of opportunity to learn and build their skills. Three classes will be held in May and June.
Build a Book with High Class Booker – Carmel resident, bookbinder and retired professor of English literature Rai Peterson will share her tools, knowledge and skills to help people make an exquisite hard-bound book or photo album. No experience is needed, but even veteran bookbinders will enjoy their time (and might learn a few secrets) in her workshops in the Carmel store, 22 N. Rangeline Road. Bring your enthusiasm. Rai provides everything else you need. As you work, she will share and a semester’s worth of fascinating details about some of the tools you’ll use and the writers/bookbinders who have influenced her.
