1 Dead in WPD-FBI Investigation

Earlier this week, the Westfield Police Department executed a search warrant in the 16800 block of South Park Drive regarding a counterfeit sports memorabilia scheme.

The next day, Wednesday, the search extended to the 300 block of Hoover Street. Upon arrival, officers found the individual deceased with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The investigation is ongoing and the FBI is assisting. No additional information will be provided at this time; updates will be made as they become available.
