Hamilton County is participating in “Go Pink for Hailey” Month by illuminating the Hamilton County Old Courthouse pink throughout the month of February in remembrance of Hailey Buzbee. Buzbee, a student at Hamilton Southeastern High School, was reported missing for several weeks before authorities recently confirmed her death.

“Hamilton County stands resolute in its commitment to the safety of all our communities through strong partnerships with community leaders and the public safety professionals who serve and protect our county,” Hamilton County Commissioner President Christine Altman said. “We have zero tolerance for predatory criminals, and we believe they should be held fully accountable under the law.”

The observance follows a proclamation by the City of Fishers honoring Hailey’s life.

Hamilton County extends its deepest condolences to the Buzbee family and joins the community in honoring Hailey.
