Heights Earns Fourth Consecutive Trip to State Finals

Hamilton Heights Indoor Percussion ensemble has advanced to the Indiana Percussion Association (IPA) State Finals for the fourth year in a row. Following a season defined by rigorous rehearsals, strong competition, and unwavering commitment, the ensemble secured 12th place, earning the final qualifying position for this year’s State Finals. 

The group will perform at the Hulman Center on the Indiana State University campus on Saturday, March 28, taking the floor at 11:43 a.m. 

“This season has been grueling, but our students never backed down,” said Mark Snelson, Hamilton Heights High School Band Director. “Their hard work, resilience, and heart carried them through some tough competition, and I couldn’t be more proud of the way they earned their spot at State Finals.” 

This achievement reflects the dedication, discipline, and resilience of the students and staff who have worked tirelessly throughout the season. Hamilton Heights congratulates the ensemble and wishes them the very best as they represent the school on the state stage.
