“My administration has been very focused on growing our business community, diversifying our tax base, and creating a sustainable economy for the last several years,” remarked Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness. “We’re looking ahead to the next chapter of Fishers and my vision centers around building a culture of health within our city – one that embraces recreation, wellbeing, and wellness. Jake’s longstanding leadership in Fishers lays a perfect foundation for these efforts and I’m excited to continue to move Fishers forward with his experience.”

Reardon McSoley comes to the City with a wealth of experience in serving the Fishers community both as the Executive Director of the Fishers YMCA and as an engaged community volunteer. During his tenure, the Fishers YMCA rose to the top as one of the most successful YMCA centers in the country which serves over 21,000 members and 35,000 residents annually.

Reardon McSoley enjoys spending time with his wife, Jenn, and their two sons, Jackson and Jace.  He likes to go camping with his boys, watch Indianapolis Colts games, attend both sons’ cross-country meets and play with their dog, Solomon.  He and his family have been proud Fishers residents for 16 years.
