Michelle Lynn York, 50, Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021 at the Community North Hospital, Indianapolis, Ind.

She was born on Aug. 25, 1971, to her parents, Elbert H. York lll and Diana (Gutbrod) York.

She worked as an inspector for Owens-Brockway Glass Company, Lapel Ind. Ms. York grew up loving country music. Her favorite artist was Dolly Parton. She was a huge animal lover and never met a stray cat or dog she didn’t love. Having no children of her own, she showered her love on her nephews and niece. She loved to play video games, watching movies, making snow cones and late night trips to the store with grandkids, Brayden, Ciara and Emma Mendenhall.

Survivors include her parents, Elbert H. York lll and Diana (Gutbrod) York; her brother, Jason York; two uncles, George Gutbrod and Clay (Nancy) York; partner, Pam Peek; her daughter, Desiree (Jason) Mendenhall; her nephews, Mikel, Trenton and Mason York; and niece, Emma York; grandkids, Brayden, Ciara and Emma Mendenhall

Visitation will be held at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home 105 West Third Street, Peru Ind. on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., with Pastor George McCarty officiating. Burial will take place at Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery in Logansport.
