Steven Earl Hiday

Steven Earl Hiday, 69, Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Anderson passed away Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio following a brief illness.

He was born July 5, 1952, in Noblesville, Ind. to Ralph Hiday and Gladys (Dautrich) Hiday.

Mr. Hiday graduated from Noblesville High School in 1970. He retired in 2009 from Red Gold, previously worked as a Police Officer in Ingalls, and worked for Wal Mart. He was a member of Ford St. United Methodist Church in Lapel. He was a member of the Alexandria Eagles. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and his dog.

Survivors include his wife Kelly Hiday of Columbus, Ohio; daughter, Kebra (Chris) Kincer of Fate, Texas; six stepdaughters, Ashley Patton, Amanda (Ty) Young, Alissa LeMond, Autumn LeMond, Aliya LeMond and Amber Sosbe; sister, Sandra Isaac; grandchildren, Miranda and Christian Kincer; several step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Ind., with Rev. Glenn Knepp officiating. Cremation will follow and burial of ashes will take place at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel at a later date.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home on Saturday.
