Leon Eugene Neal

April 9, 1943 – May 8, 2022

Leon Eugene Neal, 79, of Noblesville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2022.

He was born on April 9, 1943 to Lester and Eva (Harrold) Neal in Noblesville, Indiana.

Mr. Neal proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps where he was awarded an accommodation for rifle sharp shooting. After discharging, he owned and operated 3 ServiceMaster Franchises in California until he decided to move the family back to his home state of Indiana to be closer to relatives. For over 37 years, Mr. Neal was in the dry cleaning business which included his time as a partner of Classic Cleaners. He achieved a lot of recognition in spot cleaning and Bridal preservation.

Mr. Neal was a member of Faith Community Church, the Rotary Club, and the Lions Club. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, wintering in Florida, golf and bowling. He bowled a perfect 300 game twice! Mr. Leon’s happiest moments were those spent with family, especially his 6 grandchildren.

Survivors include his loving wife of 12 years, Linda Neal; two daughters Patricia McGuire (Brad) and Penny Wells; step-son Hakan Kutlu (Todd Fuller); six grandchildren A1C Daniel McGuire, Nathaniel McGuire, Hannah McGuire, Jonathan McGuire, Joshua Sharpley and Matthew Sharpley; brother Larry Neal (Donna); and two sisters Carolyn Cecil and Sue Duvall (Charlie).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Dan Neal; and his step-daughter Ayse Kutlu.

Visitation is scheduled to be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., with services scheduled for 3 p.m., on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville. Pastor Patrick Propst will officiate.
