Loretta Sue Kitchens

October 31, 1936 – May 3, 2022

Loretta Sue Kitchens, age 85, of Noblesville, passed away on the May 3, 2022.

She was born on October 31, 1936 to the late Bulas and Eunice (Long) Swanner of Arkansas.

As a single mother Ms. Kitchens was an example of strength, perseverance and unconditional love. She was a thoughtful, generous person who found joy in family and friends. For years she played cards weekly with her dear friends which filled the house with laughter and snacks.

Ms. Kitchens kept her mind alert with books and by never missing Jeopardy.

She retired in 2003, after 21 years, from GTE/Verizon in Westfield, Indiana. She was a loyal hardworking employee. She made life-long friends everywhere she worked. Ms. Kitchens retired to spend more time with her children and grandchildren. She loved traveling and visiting them.

Survivors include her daughter Nancy (Andreas) Kitchens; son Wayne (Lisa) Kitchens; three grandchildren Lukas, Regan and Lily; sister Karen Bunch; niece Donna Bunch; and nephew Mark Bunch.

No services will be held in Noblesville. Her family will be honoring her life by planting trees where they each live.
